Cecil T. Packard, 71 of Logansport, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born on November 25, 1946 in Indiana, he was the son to the late Truman and Ruthella (Bean) Packard. Cecil was a farmer, and also loved being a transport officer for the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
Cecil attended Liberty Baptist Church in Rochester.
Surviving is a daughter, Diana Packard, Logansport; son, Kevin (Stephanie) Pruiett, Logansport; grandchildren, Mandy (Isaac) Cayton, Twelve Mile; Cameron (Cindy) Howell, Molalla, OR; Marissa (Zach) Yelton, Longmont, CO; Creighton Howell, Logansport; Corbin Howell, Logansport; Jessica (Brian) Conrad, Lafayette, Kory Pruiett, Rochester; Taylor Pruiett, Logansport; great grandchildren, Seth & Levi Cayton, Twelve Mile; Cadence & Avery Conrad, Lafayette; sister, Jane (Weldin) Johnson, Michigan.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 9, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Dr. Bill McSpadden and Cameron Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday.
Memorials may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church in Rochester, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
