Virginia (Swartzlander) MastersJuly 20, 1932 ~ November 7, 2017 (age 85)
Virginia Masters, 85, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday November 7, 2017 in Chase Center, Logansport.
Born July 20, 1932 in Logansport she was the daughter to the late Kenneth D. and Virginia L (Fye) Swartzlander.
On June 19, 1952 in Cass County, IN she married Harold D. Masters who preceded in death June 14, 1985.
Virginia retired from Dr. Penman’s office doing billing and coding. She was an avid shopper, loved reading, loved her dogs and cats, family and helped with Civic Players.
Surviving is one daughter, Judith (Jeff) Brew, Logansport; one sister, Carol Morock, Logansport; eight grandchildren, Angela Sanders Logansport; Christina (Terrell) Smith, Logansport; William Bailey, Logansport; Robert Masters, Logansport; Brian (Shannon) Sanders, Logansport; Evan (Ashley) Masters, Russiaville, IN; Blaine (Kristin) Brew, Boston, MA; fifteen great grandchildren, Lexi, Zoe, Kameryn, Bishop, Terrance, Caleb, Jaydin, Jaylin, Teighlor, Maddison, Lacey, Braxton, Rigley, Gavin, Griffin, Jasmin, Laura, Chino and Maria; six great great grandchildren, three nieces, Susan, Michelle, Kelley; one nephew, Michael; several great nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by one daughter, Diana Todd and one son Robert D. Masters.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 10, 2017 in the First Church of the Nazarene, 109 W. Clinton Street in Logansport. Burial will take place in the Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
